Caregiver Support Groups and Psychosocial Referral

Caregivers of children with disabilities anywhere in Kenya can ask us to link them to caregiver support groups and self-help savings groups, to their local Community Health Promoter, and to Sub-County Psychologists for personal or group counselling. In our own programme, caregiver groups meet regularly in BogoBogo and other parts of Jomvu, Mombasa County, supported by CHPs. How it works: Guidance and referral for caregivers anywhere in Kenya. Direct group meetings in our programme area in Jomvu. Cost: Free (our support). Third-party costs, if any, are paid by the caregiver or a sponsor.
