Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana is a savings scheme that supports the financial security of a girl child.

High fixed interest rate of 8.2% per annum, tax-free returns and maturity benefits, flexible deposits from ₹250 to ₹1.5 lakh per year. Partial withdrawals are allowed for education after age 18, with full maturity after 21 years or upon marriage after 18.

1. The account can be opened for a girl child under the age of 10.
